Popmoney will be Discontinued June 30, 2023

Popmoney will be discontinued on June 30, 2023. As a result, all CUO members will no longer be able to access Popmoney for person-to-person transactions. In order to ensure a smooth transition away from the Popmoney platform, we encourage you to keep the following in mind:

  • All Popmoney payments with a Send Date of June 30, 2023 or earlier will be processed without interruption.

  • Any transaction set to occur after June 30, 2023 will not be processed. This includes scheduled or recurring transactions which you can review under the "Activity" tab.

  • Payments you expect to receive after June 30, 2023 will not be processed. We encourage you to utilize an alternative payment method to receive your funds.

There are several alternative payment options available to you.

  • Online Bill Pay - Using Online Banking or the Mobile App, send or schedule one-time or recurring payments to businesses and individuals.

  • Credit Union of Ohio does not endorse the use of any alternative payment option over another. We encourage you to research options such as: PayPal, Venmo, Apple Cash, and Samsung Pay.

  • What can I do if I’m expecting to receive payments through Popmoney?

    You’ll still receive any payments that take place on or before June 30, 2023. Any transactions that would take place after June 30 will not be completed as Popmoney will no longer be available. Please utilize an alternative payment method to receive your payments.

  • What will happen to my scheduled or recurring payments after June 30?

    No transactions dated after June 30, 2023 will be completed so you should plan to utilize an alternative payment method for these payments. Your scheduled Popmoney transactions can be viewed under the “Activity” tab prior to the discontinuation on June 30, 2023.

  • What are the available alternatives to Popmoney?

    There are several alternative options, including through your CUO membership! You can use Online Bill Pay to send and receive payments with Online Banking or the Mobile App.
